About Us – Mongolian Tusuls
Warmth that comes from the heart – and a mission that connects
I have lived in Germany for 30 years and originally come from Mongolia – a country known for its long and extremely cold winters. Nevertheless, I have experienced something very special here in Germany: I find the damp, wet and cold weather extremely unpleasant. For me, it sometimes feels even more intense than the dry, icy cold of my homeland – a cold that, figuratively speaking, seems to penetrate to the bone.
Many people know this feeling.
My work arose precisely from this personal experience. I not only wanted to find a natural and pleasant solution for myself, but over time I discovered that many people have a similar feeling. My constantly growing customer base in Berlin and Brandenburg also repeatedly told me about this problem.
One thing became particularly important to me: What we wear should not only make us look good, but also do us good.
The natural power of wool
High-quality wool and finely processed natural fibres can combine warmth, comfort and a pleasant feeling on the body. That's why I have deliberately specialised in high-quality wool products, which are made with great care and craftsmanship.
The connection to my homeland is particularly close to my heart.
Many of the wool products in my range are handmade by creative and talented women in Mongolia. Their experience, their craftsmanship and their love for natural materials are reflected in every single piece.
With my purchases, I also support women in my homeland, especially single mothers, so that their work gives them an economic perspective and more independence.
Girl power from my homeland – combined with the warmth I want to bring to Germany.
When my customers tell me that they feel comfortable in a product, that it keeps them warm, that they feel the quality and like to wear it, that means a lot to me. That is precisely the most beautiful part of my work: satisfied people and the feeling of doing something meaningful with my work.
Quality instead of disposable fashion
In a time when fast fashion shapes our everyday lives and clothes are often worn for only a short time and then thrown away, I want to show a different path.
I believe in products that are not made for quick consumption, but that can bring joy for a long time.
For me, natural materials like high-quality wool stand for value, durability and a more conscious approach to our environment. I want to help us look more closely again:
What do we wear?
What is it made of?
How does it feel on our skin?
How long can we wear it?
And what value does it have for us and our environment?
A piece of clothing should not lose its shape or quality after a few washes and then end up in the trash. It should be made so that we like to wear it for many years.
For me, sustainability therefore not only means using a natural material. Sustainability also means appreciating quality, shopping consciously, choosing durable products and enabling a fair perspective for the people behind the products.
Health begins in everyday life
From my point of view, health does not just mean exercise, sport and a balanced diet. Of course, all these things are important. But just as important is what immediately surrounds us every day – and that includes our clothing.
Our skin is constantly in contact with our textiles. That's why we should consciously pay attention to which materials we allow on our bodies and what does us good in the long run.
I want to make people aware that they should not only choose their clothing according to fashion and price, but also according to quality, naturalness, comfort, durability and sustainability.
My customers already appreciate this difference. They feel how high-quality natural fibres feel and what a difference it makes to wear a piece of clothing that has been made with care and from good materials.
